Guardrail Ends / Barrier Caps / Barrier Ends
Guardrail terminal ends are designed to prevent the guardrail from penetrating vehicles that collide with the end of the roadside barrier system. The terminal ends will deflect the rail away from the collision to minimize impact and stop the vehicle, hopefully without causing catastrophic damage.
Specifications of the guardrail terminal end
Size: we can custom design ends to match the different sized rails and installation locations.
Standard: AASHTO M 180, ENISO1461, JT/T281-2007, or other international standards.
Surface: Galvanized, PVC Coated.
Colors: green, blue, white, etc.
Application of guardrail terminal ends
Guardrail terminal ends are often fitted with brightly colored / reflective decals or painted to increase visibility, especially at night.
What kind of guardrail terminal end we can supply?
We can supply various types of terminal ends including custom designs depending on your needs.
Type – A
This kind of highway guardrail component fits standard w-beam or thrie beam guardrails, providing additional cushioning in case of collision.
Type – B
This type of guardrail terminal end is often used where a head on collision is unlikely. Commonly used where pedestrians may be present.
Type – C
This type of guardrail terminal end is also called a fish tail end terminal. It's used for w-beam and thrie-beam guardrails and deflect energy during an impact.
Type – D
The holes in this crash barrier end allows it to be conveniently bolted for installation on bridges, highways, and toll booths.
