Gabion Baskets / Gabion Box are rectangular boxes formed with double twisted hexagonal steel mesh. The Gabion Baskets / Gabion Box can then be filled with stones to create a solid structure that is permeable to allow for proper drainage.

Gabion Baskets / Gabion Box are arranged in cells with diaphragms (usually spaced at 1 or 3 meter intervals). The diaphragms reinforce the structure in addition to the built in reinforcement along the edges of the mesh. The basket edges feature wire mesh that is of a thicker diameter than the rest of the structure.

Internal wires are used to reinforce the outer wires of the basket to prevent bulging during filling.
