Spider Spiral Rope Mesh is most commonly applied in GSS2A, GSR2A systems with its functionality similar to that of GPS2 active net. Spider Spiral Rope Mesh is a protective net produced by twisting three strands of high tensile strength steel wire (≥1770Mpa) and with a diameter of 3.0mm/4.0mm. 3.5x10m general nets can be designed according to the requirements of 3.0 to 4.5m spacing with a depth range of 2 to 8m. The connecting bolts secure the mesh to spider anchor plates with rectangular bolt distribution or plum shaped distribution. Because of the special structure of spider nets, the bolts can be arranged more sparsely for effective slope reinforcement that is better than traditional diamond mesh type GPS series.
Spider Spiral Rope Mesh System is an active slope protection system that is great for high steep rock formations and prevents boulders and loose rocks from falling.
