The rockfall barrier system is installed near the bottom of mountains or sloped land masses to protect low lying areas form rockfalls. When stones, rocks, or snow are falling down the slope, the passive rockfall barrier system reduces impact and protects people and property.

Steel Wire Rope Net
Steel wire rope net can be used for both active and passive rockfall barrier systems. It is mainly composed of steel wire rope net, decompression rings, supporting rope, sewing rope, and a steel column. The net offers high tensile strength and can block rockfalls with force up to 750 kJ.
Steel Ring Net
Steel ring netting is made of high quality hot-dipped galvanized steel wire formed into connected circles. Different ring quantities have different blocking capacities. The steel ring net can block the rockfalls within 2000 kJ. The steel ring net system is commonly made of steel ring net, supporting rope, anchor rope, sewing rope, and a metal column.
High Tensile Steel Wire Mesh
High tensile steel mesh, also known as Tecco Mesh, is made of high tensile strength steel wire 3.0mm 4.0mm or 2.0mm, with a tensile strength ≥1,770N/mm2. Normally the tecco mesh specifications include G65/3 G65/4 G80/4 G45/2 G/40/2 with knotted ends ≥1.5 laps. And with anchors the high tensile steel wire mesh covers over the slope firmly with tension.
