Tungsten wire mesh is made of tungsten wire with a 99.9% purity, and has an extremely high tensile strength. It has the highest melting point of all metals, even at high temperatures over 1650ºC. Among its properties are a melting point of 3410ºC, a low coefficient of thermal expansion and low vapor pressure at elevated temperatures, along with good electrical and thermal conductivity.
Tungsten wire mesh is highly resistant to corrosion, and has a high density, sufficient electrical resistance, high modulus of elasticity, low vapor pressure and low thermal expansion combined with good thermal conductivity.
Pattern of Tungsten Wire Mesh: plain weave, twill weave.
Materials of Tungsten Wire Mesh: W1, W2, WAL1, WAL2 and WAL3. (Bright pure tungsten wire, tungsten content ≧99.95%, black pure tungsten wire.)
Wire Diameter: 0.05mm to 2.0mm.
Mesh Count: 2 mesh to 200 mesh in plain weave.
Feature of Tungsten Wire Mesh:
1.Tungsten is a very hard, dense, silvery-white, lustrous metal that tarnishes in air, forming a protective oxide coating. In powder form tungsten is gray in color.
2. Tungsten is highly resistant to corrosion. It forms tungstic acid (H2WO4), or wolframic acid from the hydrated oxide (WO3) and its salts are called tungstates, or wolframates.
3. Tungsten is one of the five major refractory metals (metals with very high resistance to heat and wear). The other refractory metals are molybdenum, tantalum, rhenium and niobium.

Applications of Tungsten Wire Mesh:
Electromagnetic shielding mesh, vacuum heat treatment furnace grate, RF electromagnetic shielding, light filtering. Tungsten wire mesh is often used for its good conductivity for heat and electricity as well as for its high absorption capacity for radioactive radiation and X-rays. Tungsten wire mesh features a high temperature resistance and is often used as a vacuum furnace tungsten mesh heating element, and heat treatment supporting wire mesh. Tungsten wire cloth is used for batteries, chemicals, mines, hydrogen making, acid making, and other industries.
